The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) may be force to cancel and the entire governorship elections in Kogi state after  it emerged that Prince Abubakar Audu, the All Progressive congress’ candidate for the elections actually died just after voting on Saturday, a day before the announcement of the results of the elections
Recent reports say Abubakar Audu, the late governorship candidate in Kogi state, actually died shortly after casting his vote on election day at Ogbonicha in Ofu LGA.
Audu was said to have taken ill a day before the election, and a doctor was called to take care of him pending the time he would be taken for proper medical attention.
The late politician was purportedly found lying on the floor ‘with blood covering his face’ by a member of his domestic staff at his country home in Ogbonicha on Friday.
