WE WERE NOT SAVAGES

We were not savages – we were nt heathens – what brought about the crash of old values, was the effects of the modern world – the custodians of the old setting began to see the responsible and humble slaves, who acquired western education to the extent that they forgot their native names, as carriers of a better world, where the future of Africa rested, and decided to attack them. It is the clash of cultures that is killing us, and it is equally killing the Africa in us.
