How To Increase AdSense CPC

There are several methods you can use to increase your AdSense earnings and they are mentioned below:
  • Target Keywords with High CPC.
  • Target countries like US, Canada etc.
  • Blocking Ad which pays less (Its the most important part).
Look below and see how I explained them down:

1. Target Keywords with High CPC
When I’m talking about high CPC key words, I meant the one I posted hereHigh CPC keywords will surely give you $$$ you never expected, so my friend you need to try it today.
Note: Targeting keywords with high CPC to earn more from AdSense does not mean you will be ranked well in search engines but for ranking for those keywords you will require an Authoritative domain that will take some time.

2. Target Countries That Has High CPC
Countries that has high CPC are US, Canada, UK etc. and you seriously need traffic from there for better CPC.  I have found out great tool for that known as Semrush (please click the link to sign up with my affiliate link) which you can use to target particular countries while doing “Keyword research“. If you’re great at SEO and can rank in every country then it’s great but if you’re not then I strongly suggest you to use Semrush tool for keyword research and analyzing competitors(I believe that Semrush is the best for you!).

3. Block Ads That Has Low CPC
Friend, this part is the most important part in this article and you need to pay attention to it. I know that some of you might have heard about blocking low CPC but still you don’t know how to block them because you have not seen tutorial on how to do it or maybe you think its for requires programming knowledge to do that. Well you can learn how to do it now without stress!
Below, you have to find out the companies which are advertising on your blog and then find out how much CPC they’re giving to you per click so that you can block all those ads who are paying less.
Below is the best method to find the advertisers which are paying less and blocking them from being displayed on your Blog.
  • Firstly you have to find the advertisers who are advertising on your blog with a simple tool known  as Google Adsense Sandbox.
  • Put your blog URL there and leave the country field empty and press “Preview Ads”. You can see how i did mine at the screenshot below.
preview ads

  • After clicking “Preview Ads, you will see Different ads (as you saw at the screenshot above). These are the advertisers who are advertising on your blog.
  • Now copy the URL of any of the Ad you got from Google AdSense Sandbox results and go to iSpionage.com
  • Paste the Advertiser’s URL there and click on “GET COMPETITOR DATA”
  • After clicking on ‘Ads’, you will get the exact information about the advertiser. There you will see the destination URL, keyword, search volume, rank and CPC for AdSense publishers.
  • There are some Advertisers who are willing to pay more than ‘0.30$’ per click. Don’t block such ads.
I am sure this is how you can find out the advertisers that are not willing to advertise (advertisers that are paying less).

4. Blocking Advertisers To Increase Your CPC in AdSense
After you have known advertisers that are paying less in your blog, the next thing in your mind is how to get them off from your blog (how to block them from advertising in your blog) which I’m gonna explain now.
  • Log in to your AdSense account dashboard and go to “Allow and Block Ads” section.
  • Enter the display URL shown on the ad or the destination URL to block new and existing ads. see the screenshot below.
google ad block
  • After adding the URL click on Block URLs to block it. You can make a list of all those low paying advertisers and can block them all at once.
  • I think you’re done! congrats!! enjoy!!!
Note: The tool used in finding out the CPC (iSpionage.com) given by the advertiser has limits and the limits is that you can’t use it more than 10 times but you can if you have different browsers (Its a trick to use it more than limited time). You can take monthly subscription if you want or else you want it to take you some days to get the list of all those advertisers that are paying less to advertise on your blog.
